A BID to create two holiday lets from a former agriculture building in Trefonen has been given the green light by Shropshire Council.

A spokesperson for Shropshire Council said the works were a "temporary reinstatement" but added the agreed permit "gave no warning" of their temporary nature.

Much of Friday's meeting discussed a new management plan that Shropshire Council has put forward for the running of the 25 self-contained flats at Coton Hill House.

Shropshire Council also raised concerns at that time about insufficient turning space and parking within the site – meaning that cars would have to reverse out of the site onto the adjoining road.
